 CONDITIONS of SALE

PAYMENT METHODS: We accept payment by bank transfer, STRIPE Payments plus for some items and destinations we also use an international escrow service.

CUSTOMS DUTY and TAXES: The total price charged may include free delivery to most major destinations. According to customer’s delivery location, applicable customs duty and taxes will apply. To expedite customs clearance and lcal delivery you can prepay all such charges. Alternatively we can ship on a DDU basis and the customer will be liable to pay any and all charges prior to receiving goods.

SPECIAL and BACK ORDERS: Many of our time instruments are produced in limited numbers and if not in stock and available for purchase at the time of the customer’s enquiry, then delivery will be subject to a waiting period. We will always confirm the delivery time estimate for out of stock pr special order items for the customers express acknowledgement and approval before finalising a sale and requesting a deposit payment.

DELIVERY TIMES: Items confirmed to be in stock will normally ship within 3 working days following receipt of payment. Typically Shipping times after goods leave our office are; UK-1 day, Europe capital cities-2-3 days, Other European destinations- 2-4 days, USA 2-3 days, Rest of World 3-5 days. Please note that final receipt of goods will vary according to the Customers location and also by any circumstances that may affect normal delivery, such as customs clearance, weather, strikes or other factors.

UNABLE TO DELIVER: If delivery cannot be achieved after 2 or 3 attempts the goods may be returned to us. Redelivery from us will then incur additional shipping and other possible related charges. Alternatively if goods are still in the destination country, the customer may incur local re-delivery charges, payable directly to our courier's local agent.

RETURNS EXCHANGES & REFUNDS: All sales are final and non-refundable except where the item is found to be defective and we are notified within 3 days of delivery of the item. After this time, REFUND or EXCHANGE will be entirely at our discretion.. To be eligible for a REFUND or EXCHANGE, your item must be in new unused and in the same condition that you received it, with the original packaging. REFUNDS will only be made to the Original Purchaser and only to the original source of payment. There are certain situations where only partial refunds or exchanges may be granted: a. Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error. b. Any item which is not returned and received by us more than 10 days after delivery. d. Any Import taxes, duties or associated customs charges which we cannot normally recover will not be credited. e. Our original incurred Shipping costs, even if original delivery was free of charge. f. Our costs of Insurance cover for the delivery process.

RETURNS - SHIPPING COSTS & INSURANCE: Items should not be returned to us without our prior approval. Where we accept a return we will normally arrange for our shippers to collect and return to us. In the event that any items are returned to us by the purchaser’s own arrangements, the cost of such shipping shall be borne by the purchaser. Furthermore items shoudl be insured for the full value, as we will accept no responsibility for safe return to us in these circumstances. Depending on the circumstances for the return and upon inspection of the returned items we may entirely at our discretion refund the purchaser’s costs of return whether partially or for the full amount.

REFUNDS: Once your Returned item is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or if there are any costs to be deducted (see previous section RETURNS EXCHANGES & REFUNDS). Once a REFUND is approved, a credit will be applied to your original method of payment, within 5 working days. Please allow sufficient time for your bank to remit funds to your account.

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS: If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your bank, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at info@editionsintime.com

WARRANTY and SERVICE

2 YEAR WARRANTY: Unless otherwise stated, Our time instruments are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. Warranty excludes normal wear and tear, accidental damage and improper use. Watch straps, watch case, watch lens and all other glass materials are excluded from this warranty, except for manufacturing defects. Warranty only applies to original purchaser and/or gifted recipient provided recipient informs Editions in Time in writing that they are the actual owner of the watch within 30 days of original delivery date. All claims for service under warranty should be made in writing by email if possible for efficient communication to info@hayonorolog.com

REPAIRS UNDER WARRANTY: Product defects covered by our standard warranty will be completed at no charge including the cost of shipping back to the customer. Please do not return your item without first receiving our authorisation. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping and insurance costs for returning your item - see SHIPPING COSTS below.

NON-WARRANTY REPAIRS & SERVICE: We provide a full after sales service including cleaning, adjustments and all necessary repairs to have your time instrument restored to best working order and condition by our skilled watchmakers in London. Prior to sending us your watch first email us with a description of the fault or service required and we will give you an estimate of likely charges. Once the watch is received we may find additional or different defects than those you previously advised. This may alter the time required and cost of repairs. We will always quote you and obtain your approval before proceeding with any repairs.

SHIPPING RETURNS: To return your product, you should first advise us by email that you wish to return your product and subject to any of the relevant terms and conditions above, we will then authorise and accept return of goods. We take no responsibility for goods returned without prior authorisation. Please follow our instructions, in particular regarding description of goods, to avoid or minimise possible delays or avoidable charges by UK customs on re-import. Once a return is authorised we will advise to which address the goods are to be shipped.

SHIPPING COSTS: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item to us for service. We highly recommend you use a reputable courier company that provides a trackable service and also purchasing shipping insurance for the full value of the item. For return shipping arranged by the customer we accept no responsibility for goods lost or damaged in transit.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO COMPLETE A SERVICE / REPAIR? This will always depend on the nature of the required repair and whether any parts that may be required are in stock. Our repairs are either carried out at our skilled London watchmakers or at our Swiss manufactures. Normally repairs for watches will be completed within 1 month. For other time instruments requiring service in Switzerland we can provide an up to date estmate at the time of enquiry. In addition there will be the delivery time back to the customer. This depends on the customers location and will normally be within 1 day to 1 week.

WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION? When you purchase something from us, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our website, we may automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. Email marketing (if applicable): With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

CONSENT: How do you get my consent? When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your bank account, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no. How do I withdraw my consent? DISCLOSURE: We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

STRIPE PAYMENTS: Apart from direct bank transfer we also use Stripe Payments who provide us with a secure payment gateway that allows us to invoice and receive payments from customers. If you choose to pay via STRIPE, It will be Stripe that stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES: In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us. However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.
